Robert Fife (born 1954) is a Canadian political journalist and author who served as Ottawa bureau chief for The Globe and Mail.
Fife was also Ottawa bureau chief for CanWest News Service, the National Post, and the Sun Media chain. He was the Ottawa bureau chief for CTV News from February 2005. At CTV, he was the host of its Question Period show, a political panel discussion; after Fife's move to The Globe and Mail was announced, it was also stated that the show would be rebranded CTV’s Question Period with The Globe and Mail’s Robert Fife.

Robert Douglas Fyfe (25 September 1930 – 15 September 2021) was a Scottish actor, best known for his role as Howard in the long-running British sitcomLast of the Summer Wine from 1985 to 2010.[2]
Early life
[edit]Fyfe was born in Kirkcaldy on 25 September 1930, the son of Douglas Fyfe, a watchmaker, and Mary Fyfe née Irvine. He attended Kirkcaldy High School,[3] before studying English literature at the University of Edinburgh. He did not complete his degree and instead trained under Esmé Church at the Northern Theatre School in Bradford, graduating in 1954. Whilst studying, he performed in Halifax, York and Scarborough, including appearing in the York Mystery Plays in 1954.
