Robert Kinkel
Robert Kinkel is a music producer and professional session keyboardist best known for his role as a co-creator/co-producer/co-composer, musical director and touring keyboardist with Trans Siberian Orchestra which is currently one of the top 10 touring acts in the world grossing over $50M/year in ticket sales. He co-wrote TSO’s 2 hit multi-platinum selling songs “Christmas Eve (Sarajevo 12/24)”, and “Wizards in Winter” resulting in sales close to ten million. In the past 30 years, Bob has worked with artists such as Five for Fighting, The Who, Aerosmith and Genesis; as well as creating and being the voice on the infamous jingle for Hefty (“Hefty Wimpy”) He was educated at Hamilton College where he received a BA in music with a minor in physics, and Columbia University where he was awarded a full fellowship in solid state physics. He has received honors and awards from Williamsville Education Foundation and Buffalo Music Hall of Fame. Besides continuing to write for TSO, Bob is currently producing new recording acts, developing a musical for Broadway and teaching as an artist in residence at Hamilton College.

Life and career
[edit]Kinkel was born in Buffalo, New York. Receiving his early musical training singing in a choir in his hometown of Williamsville, New York, he continued his education singing in choirs and playing in Williamsville school bands until he attended Hamilton College where he attained his degree in music, studying composition, piano and organ.[2]
His first professional music job came at the Record Plant Studios in New York City, where he assisted on productions for bands such as The Who, Badlands and uncredited work
