Barbara graduated from St. Luke’s school of nursing and was a registered nurse, working in many nursing capacities through the decades. She enjoyed her grandchildren who affectionately called her ‘Gram’, and liked crafting and gardening. Barbara is survived by her children; David Silcox, Mark Silcox (Janet), Abigail Banks (John), Sarah Martin (Thomas), grandchildren; Ashley, Matt, Adam, Noah, Jonah, Seth, Anna, Tommy, Tadd, Theo, siblings; Donald Shive and Sharon Davidock. Barbara was preceded by husbands; Henry F. Silcox and Joseph F. Palmer. A viewing will be held on Wednesday December 28, 2022 at Open Door Baptist Church 875 Academy Drive Lebanon PA from 12:00pm-1:00pm followed by a service at 1:00pm.
